From Pottery to Art Canvas: A New Chapter in Collaboration

After more than two decades of working side by side, my longtime collaborator Nicole and I are starting a brand-new chapter—together. We've just launched an online store, and for the first time, we’re offering a collection of products inspired by the art I’ve been creating and sharing on my YouTube channel. 

This store isn’t just a new business venture. It’s a full-circle moment. 

Nicole, my former employee—and now business partner—has been with me through everything. For over 20 years, we’ve worked in tandem, each of us bringing something essential to the table. I’m the starter: the one with ideas, sketches, and a deep love for design, product development, and building beautiful things from the ground up. She’s the finisher: the one who makes sure it all works, the tech support, the customer service lifeline, the person who brings polish, order, and follow-through to every chaotic creative burst I throw her way. 

Our collaboration began back in the days of my custom pottery business, Museware Pottery. That studio was my whole heart and soul. But like so many small, creative businesses, it didn’t survive 2020. We lost not just the studio, but everything we owned. Starting over wasn’t a choice—it was the only option. 

And yet, here we are. Starting again. Still working together. Still believing in what we can create. 

This new store is built on the foundation of the art I now share on YouTube—art that’s helped me rediscover my creative voice after the storm. It features designs that reflect the journey: pieces full of color, texture, and resilience. Some are playful, some thoughtful. All of them are rooted in the same hands-on dedication that once created gorgeous, high quality personalized pottery gifts. 

What makes this especially meaningful is that it isn’t just my store. It’s ours. Built with the same teamwork, the same trust, and the same grit that got us through every twist and turn of the past 20+ years. We've both had to start from scratch, and we've done it with the kind of partnership that doesn’t happen often—and definitely doesn’t fade.
