Our "By the Sea" Sailing-Ocean-Undersea-Life themed collage is a playful nod to all things seaside. Imagine yourself in a sailboat gently floating in a calm sea while flying and swimming things travel above and below. This custom woven (not printed) blanket will warm you on chilly nights and add a bit of color and charm to any beach house decor. Made of 100% pure cotton that is dyed in 6 subtle colors, it's easy care and can go from the sofa to the sandy beach - just toss it in the machine when needed.
About the Art: By the Sea is a nautically inspired collage created in the cut paper style. Papers for this collage were individually hand painted on a Gelli Arts Gel Plate using acrylic paints and various hand made texture tools. The rich blue, teal, black, cream, and orange color palette features various hand cut and hand stamped fish swimming beneath a sail boat floating across a serene sea. These custom Jacquard Woven Blankets are created from 100% recycled and organic cotton using only 6 colors. These colors combine to create a limited palette of beautifully subdued and muted tones.
CARE: Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach or wring. Machine dry.
