Flexible Origami Tote Bags
While it's called the Origami tote, you can fold this sturdy fabric into a tote bag, use it as an impromptu picnic blanket, scarf, shawl, or even the most beautiful gift wrapping. There's beauty in simplicity! This origami tote combines an idea that is centuries old with a modern twist on materials.
About the art: Grey Eucalyptus was collaged using vintage dictionary & shorthand pages and hand printed paper. The gel plate printing process is also called mono-printing. I roll out paint, place a piece of dried eucalyptus over the wet paint, then rubbed Japanese rice paper over the top. Each "pull" from the plate results in a one-of-a-kind image.
