About the art: Pretty Bird is a mixed media collage created using the cut-paper technique. Papers in this collage were hand painted on a gel plate with acrylic paint, then cut and assembled into a playful, folk-art style collage. This piece of original art features an alert black bird perched in a magical tree surrounded by branches and bright fuchsia blooms. It was created on camera for my YouTube audience.
