Our "Pretty Bird" woven blanket is both comfortable and versatile. Use it as a wall decoration, a throw for your sofa, or even a picnic blanket. Each blanket is made of 100% pure cotton that is dyed in colors to bring this unique artwork to life. Crafted with an intricate Jacquard woven production process, rather than a printed technique, it will warm you when it's chilly or add a splash of color to your home decor. This 50x60" blanket is also easy care - machine wash and dry!
About the art: Pretty Bird is a folk art style collage inspired by British artist Mark Hearld. Papers for this collage were hand painted on a Gelli Arts Gel Plate using acrylic paint using stencils and hand made texture tools. The rich color scheme includes cool blue, teal, magenta, orange, and bold black. Once dry, pen-work details were added. This piece was recorded in my home studio for my YouTube audience. These custom Jacquard Woven Blankets are created from 100% recycled and organic cotton using only 6 colors. These colors combine to create a limited palette of beautifully subdued and muted tones.
CARE: Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach or wring. Machine dry.
