About the artwork: This design began as a mono-print. I rolled out black paint on a handmade gel plate, laid a pressed flower over the wet paint, then rubbed a sheet of Japanese rice paper over the top. Once dry, it was photographed, then refined and colored in Photoshop. The interior is printed with a different section of the same design.
